Good morning!

In this autumn to send cool season, we are very pleased to come to an historical and cultural city of Nanjing, is my hometown, Grand held its ninth session of "21st century Computing Symposium."

In this I only represents Microsoft, Microsoft Research Asia come to you a warm welcome. Jiangsu provincial government, Nanjing Municipal Government's cooperation to express my heartfelt thanks.

Over the past eight years, at the National Science Foundation and the cooperation of many colleges and universities, "21st century computing" in the footsteps of the General Assembly has been all over Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Hong Kong, Taipei and other cities, nearly 2 million members and students, through the General Assembly and world-class master had a face-to-face exchanges, understanding to the computer field of the latest research results and the future of computing development forecasts.

In particular, we will in Korea's capital Seoul hosted the "21st century computing" Symposium, which will promote the "21st century computing" Symposium on academic influence in the Asia-Pacific region.

The rapid development of the network, potentially affecting the community's economic and social life, therefore, how the wave of the Internet economy, exploring innovative network service mode, how to better tap Internet to life of possible vision become computer research hotspot in the field, as well as the global software industry competitive focus. In recent years, Microsoft Corporation, one of the strategic focus to the field of Internet services, and input into the unprecedented attention. Microsoft Research Asia is also in Internet applications make the attention of the research results. At the same time, we also look forward to in Nanjing on the Internet this topic can at home and abroad experts have an in-depth discussion and dialogue.

Current Conference to network success surge ahead (Weavingthe Future through the Web), aims to highlight the research of the network platform based on human giant.
